Bottega Veneta opens a new flagship store at the Bellavita mall in Xinyi district today. Marco Bizzarri, president and CEO of Bottega Veneta, said the new store “enhances our ability to provide customers in Taipei with optimal service and an exceptional retail experience.”
The 3,200-square-foot store is one of Bottega Veneta's biggest in Asia. It will offer a broad range of product including men's and women's wear, small leather goods, handbags, luggage, fine jewelry, eyewear, shoes, porcelain, home and furniture.
The new store uses the quiet, sensuous palette of matte neutrals and earth tones in its interior design. Bottega Veneta's four defining qualities – timeless design, modern functionality, outstanding craftsmanship, and the highest quality materials – are all represented through different elements of the interior of the Bellavita store. Every detail of the boutique store has been custom made, from the walnut tables and handcrafted vitrines to the door handles sheathed in leather.
The store's features are all designed to give customers a private and sophisticated shopping experience. These include louvers made of palm wood and steel that frame the store windows; ultra-suede, mohair furniture upholstery that cover the walls and pure New Zealand wool carpets that cover the floors. Equal care has gone into the design of the display counters, which are finely-crafted with slide-out billiard cloth presentation pads.
